Decorating the Tree

Well last night we decorated the Tree! Brianna was adorable! the video attached is from my cellphone so so its not the best quality,(the irritating crackle is paper tearing) but it gives you the idea and its not too bad. This video was taken near the end, and contrary to what you see here she got most of them to stay. Watching her pick a specific decoration and then stand at the tree looking for the perfect spot, only to place it practically on top of the last one was so fun to see.

We recently had a craft day with Brianna for a Family Home Evening. We made little santa magnets and well, Ill let the vidio do the rest of the talking.

Halloween was a blast! Brianna was a fairy and she was adorable! Our trick-or-treating was 2 part. On Saturday we did the trick-or-treating at the Zoo. when we were done trick-or- treating we took a ride on the train where the real treat happened. First, we got the best seat in the train on the back so we were facing out the whole time! But what made this memorable was when the train stalled in the buffalo portion of the ride and the buffalo came tromping up to visit us. This freaked my wife out at first because he came charging us full throttle, then he turned and made another pass. Then he stopped in front of us and started bucking his head, then he started prancing around in front of us. He was so close we could easily touch him. It was an amazing site to behold!

Then on Halloween we went too the mall for more trick or treating. It did not take Brianna long to realize the pattern for getting candy, and the fuller her basket got the cuter it was to see her try to hold it up for more candy as she drug it around. Occasionally wed come to a werewolf, or death handing out candy and she would cautiously walk as far around them as possible rather than anxiously approaching for Candy a normal.

Real Life Superhero Among us!

Thats right, you read correctly. I am a real life superhero with real super powers. It is just getting too hard to hide it from the world anymore so Im revealing my big secret. Please dont be affraid of me now that you know the truth. Just treat me like normal. It is still undetermined if Brianna has any of my powers or not as they usually show up in puberty. My power is amazing and has the potental to make me the most powerfull super human alive! I have the power to absorb anyone elses super powers who are arround me. The down side is that I have yet to meet anyone with any superpowers to absorb.

Work halloween decor contest

My 2nd job at Intel had a desk decorating contest for a paid day off. I didnt win, but heres what I did. The "chocolate sause" on the walls is spose to be blood, but the acid in the paper had a bad reaction with the blood and made it look werd. Perhaps if it looked like it was intended, I'd have won. The winner had a chucky doll, and not to sound petty or anything but it was a supervisor who is on salary anyway and used a real knife (thats aganst the security polocy of the company). So I think they should have been disqualified on those grounds. Oh well, It was fun to build win or lose!

So, Our little girl is growing up. We found 2 molers. now she has 6 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth. before we know it she wont have her cute little gummy grin anymore. growing up is bitter-sweet. On a completly unrelated topic, I took a pic of her while we were shoping, she can be such a pain to shop with if we go through the toy or candy isle (or if anything she likes catches her intrest for that matter). She will throw a fit till we get her the said item, so then we have to trick it away from her if we want to leave in peace. She keeps us on our toes.

First snow of 07

Today we took Brianna out to play in the snow. She didnt have much fun on account of the hat and gloves that she hated. She mostly stood arround because she wasnt able to use her hands. We did get into a pretty intense snowball fight despite the glove problem.

so last night Brianna did a verry cute thing. I was playing with her when she grabed my hat off the floor, put it on my head and said "pretty". It was adorable! She suprizes me every day with what she knows!

The new bundle of joy!

For those who have not herd it through the grape vine yet, My seed is germinating in Tami. When shes done cooking arround Feb. 29th we will have another little girl. Honestly, I wanted a little boy but I'm excited to meet our new daughter. Even if I never get my boy I'll still be happy. After all, we know how to make cute girls allready!

What better way to start than to talk about our little Princess Brianna!
Briann a is as cute as ever, and she is sooo smart! she is 15 months and has been walking for at least 4. she drinks from regular cups, folds her arms when we pray (which she learned on her own from watching), she gives kisses by pearcing her lips and humming, she gives bear hugs (thats a hug where she squeezes tighter than a regular hug and growles). She loves to play ring arround the rosies and "walking crazy". She says Mom , Dad, Duck (sounds like dut), Cheese (sounds like deese), and "cukka". She also trys to mimic other words we say (sometimes un secsessfully, but it is soo cute to hear her try) Her newest thing has been flushing the toilet, but recently she wanted to sit on the toilet. So mom held her over the toilet and she got scared, we are going to go get her a little toilet seat so she wont be scarred. I dont think her "controll" muscle is developed yet, but Im impressed that she is allready expressing intrest in the potty! She is verry independent and if she notices that we do something shes got to try it. She wants to be a "big girl". She also shakes her head yes and no when we talk to her and ask her questions. And when we tell her something she understands it! For example, a while ago, Tami told her that we are not keeping track of her binki any more (in a failed attempt to ween her when all the binkis get lost) well, she has not lost a single binki ever sence, she is allwasy careful to put it by her chair, or with her babby or somewhere she can find it, where before she would hand it to us or throw it on the floor wherever she was. She also LOVES her babby doll. Whenever we give her food and the babby doll is near by the babby doll ends up with it all over its face arround the mouth area. She is also geting good at going to bed on her own (finally)! Now instead of rocking her to sleep we can tell her it is time for bed and lay down then she joins us. She has also started singing along with us and occasionally with the TV. And she loves to dance.

There is so much I can tell you about Brianna, but Ill leave it at that for now.
